This two bedroom home is perfectly located on Oak Lane in West Tisbury, well off the main roads and close to the State Forest with numerous trails and bike paths connecting everywhere. West Tisbury renters can obtain passes to go to the beautiful Lambert's Cove beach, just fourteen minutes from the house. The cottage is a two story, two bedroom guest house on the owner's property, south facing with a deck along the full front of the house with one full bath, downstairs and an outside shower. There is a quaint eat in kitchen, and living room (with pull out sofa) on the first floor. The second floor holds a master bedroom with a full size bed and a smaller bedroom with two twins. Both bedrooms are bright and well ventilated with skylights. The building was renovated in 2006. It is ideal for one couple, but one could squeeze in 1 more family member. Note: On a year round basis, the furnishings are usually removed and the premises is rented unfurnished, assuming the annual Tenants have their own furnishings. Otherwise, Landlord can provide some basic furnishings.

SOUTH FACING DECK ALONG FULL FRONT OF HOUSE

The property is located in the midst of highly desirable West Tisbury, central to everywhere on the island. While the main house is 45 feet away, due to the orientation of the cottage being forward of the main house, one does not feel the presence of the main house. It is easy to enjoy lots of privacy on the deck, well screened by vegetation. As noted, the house is very close to the numerous paved bike paths that criss-cross the island, so bring or rent bikes for your vacation and enjoy!

The house may be available after November 28, 2023 year-round for $2,800/mo. Landlord pays electric which includes hot water. Utilities paid by the tenant include rubbish pick up and propane for heating, cooking and for the dryer, and phone, internet and/or cable.
