This three bedroom apartment is located at 30 Main Street, in downtown Vineyard Haven, which is officially known as Tisbury, the main year round port of entry. It is located within the old village and is just a block from the grocery store and the ferry. Public transportation is readily available. Two of the rooms have glimpses of the ferries and the harbor.

The apartment can accommodate as many as a six persons living as a family, but we prefer no more than 5.

The main entry off of Spring Street leads up a single flight of stairs through a common hall shared by just a single one-bedroom apartment into a single living room / dining room with kitchen combination.

The apartment faces east and south and slightly westerly, providing great light!

No pets and no smoking are mandated. The Tenant pays for the utilities, including heat and hot water, which are electric. We are informed by prior tenants that the electric bill is heavily dependent on the number of occupants - meaning more or fewer showers, etc. It is also dependent on the habits of occupants - if you work more, then you keep the heat down during the day, etc. Some heat flows up from the businesses below to help with winter heating. There is no washer / dryer. There is a dishwasher, however, which saves on hot water. The apartment can come with some sparse furnishings, if need be. We prefer to rent it unfurnished, especially if we are renting year - round. Up to two possible parking spots can be arranged with nearby with a parking lot landowner at an additional fee, currently $1250. The Landlord is willing to subsidize half of the cost of the parking. 

AVAILABLE SEASONALLY, OR YEAR - ROUND

THE APARTMENT AVAILABILITY will soon be announced but generally: 
(1) FOR THE SEASON: of late May - September, the apartment rent is $18,000.00 ($3,600.00 a month) plus utilities. 
(2) YEAR-ROUND: $1,950.00 per month plus utilities for lease terms commencing October through January. For tenancies commencing after January, the Tenancy will be broken into three or four successive leases depending on the commencement date, and the total annual rent of $23,400.00 will vary depending on the month with winter rates a bit lower than spring rates and summer rates a bit more (but not as high in summer as a seasonal rental and not quite as low in winter as just a winter rental). Each of these Leases is dependent on fulfillment of all Tenant obligations.
All Tenants must file a completed application and provide satisfactory references before a lease can be offered.
